What does it Feel like?
Fika targets post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots, post-acne marks) and UV-triggered uneven tone — the types most common in Indian skin. Melasma has a hormonal component that makes it more complex to treat topically, and Fika has not been clinically tested specifically on melasma.
If you have melasma, Fika can be part of a broader routine but we recommend consulting a dermatologist for a targeted protocol.
Yes — they are designed to work together. Terra supports your skin barrier and hydration baseline; Fika targets pigmentation and uneven tone. Apply Terra first on clean skin, allow it to absorb, then layer Fika.
Both can be used morning and evening. Apply sunscreen every morning when using Fika — UV exposure triggers the melanin production pathway that Fika works to interrupt.
Fika contains plant botanicals, peptides, and antioxidants — no retinoids, hydroquinone, or salicylic acid. However, we recommend consulting your doctor before adding any new skincare product during pregnancy, as individual sensitivities can vary.
Niacinamide and most of the botanical actives in Fika are generally considered safe, but the decision should be made with your healthcare provider.
Niacinamide
is one of 30+ active ingredients in Fika — it inhibits pigment transfer to
the upper skin layers. But Fika works at multiple stages of the melanin
pathway simultaneously: Nonapeptide-1 interrupts the MSH signalling that
triggers excess melanin production; Artocarpus Lakoocha inhibits tyrosinase;
Niacinamide reduces pigment transfer; and Piperonyl Linoleate targets TRP-1.
A
standalone niacinamide serum addresses one mechanism. Fika addresses five.

Usually I struggle to find a cleanser/oil/balm that will take off even the base level foundation or tinted sunscreen I wear.
But your balm! Whatta wow! It took everything off. In one go. The fragrance - incredible
The after effect on skin - so soft and supple. Like it hasn't been stripped off its basics. And I have dry skin in mind and most likely a normal skin in reality but the after effect delivered on both skin types.
So so so so very good.
I also tried Fika and Tera and it leaves your skin so feeling nice. The experience, packaging, texture, application is just brilliant.
The founder is a skin care nerd and it shows in her formulations.

The Terra serum is lightweight and easily gets absorbed in the skin. I’m able to use it Peak summer at 45C and it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy. I think my skin feels softer after using it for a month. However the hydration isnt very long lasting. So that is something that could be made better. Overall love the product!

The product is really good. Generally my skin feels dry even if I don't apply cream for day but in case Terra, it's not the same. I have noticed that my skin feels more soft and supple and in case I miss one day, it doesn't dry up next day.
I have used Terra over a period of ten days and am happy overall with the moisturizing effect.

I’ve been using TERRA for the past couple of weeks, and I wanted to share my experience so far. Honestly, my skin has been feeling nourished and deeply hydrated. What I love most is that this one product feels sufficient on its own — I don’t feel the need to layer multiple products anymore. It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the skin. The fragrance is also lovely. I use it a base before make up and the foundation doesn't crease or feel cakey... I can genuinely see and feel the difference — it’s truly working for me.

Loved the texture of Terra and how it feels on my skin. One small feedback. It has a slight fragrance which though is not unpleasant but did not work for me. Will be trying the cleansing balm next.

About 2 weeks in with products from the skin beneath
So far, I’m really liking how gentle and calming the products feel on my skin. The cleansing balm removes makeup and sunscreen without that tight, dry feeling, and my skin feels comfortably hydrated after every use.
I’ve noticed less irritation and a healthier, balanced feel overall. Excited to see how things progress with continued use!

I bought Fika in Sept , I am happy to report that after the founder’s guidance on usage and consistently following the process I can see significant improvement in my pigmentation. Loved the texture. The scent of the product. It brings a lot of calm to my otherwise angry skin. A subtle even tone. I cant speak a lot for pigmentation yet, as I just started using it. But an over all even skin tone is already visible.
