HI, I AM THE FOUNDER
My skin changed in my thirties. PCOS, hormonal shifts, a barrier that had been quietly compromised by years of products that promised visible results in days. I was dealing with dryness that no moisturiser resolved, pigmentation that worsened
with every "brightening" serum I tried, and the slow realisation that most of what the industry was selling me had not been designed for skin like mine.
I had spent twenty-two years in the lingerie industry, building products for real bodies. Not aspirational ones. That work taught me what it means to design for how people actually live, not how a campaign imagines they do. So when I went looking for skincare that held the same standard, and could not find it, the gap felt personal.
I trained as a formulator at forty-one because I needed to understand what was going on at the level of the ingredient, the interaction, the barrier. Not to work alone in a lab, but to be able to sit across from a chemist and know when something was good enough and when it was not.
