Each eco-toilet costs 30,000 INR/ 416.48 USD/ 373.74 Euro, which speaks a volume on the work done by the foundation. This is a much needed sanitation for the rural India.
Moving on to their Clean and concious skincare line, I used few of their products and I wish to share my experience in detail with you.
HIMALAYAN SALT BODY POLISH
An exquisite body polish that is hand blended into an energizing exfoliant with Himalayan Salt crystals, bitter apricot kernels, wild pomegranate, Persian walnuts, and essential oils of Mandarin, Eucalyptus and cedar wood. Althout this comprises of the kernels, its not at all abrasive. I make a paste of this with water ( you can choose milk as well) and apply it on my body on a damp skin when am in shower.Gentle circular motions while application not only help scrub the skin but also help in spreading the oils all over the body.
Once the application is done, I rinse off with Luke warm water and prefer to not use any soap post this ritual. And, honestly I don’t use any oil either post this as this itself leaves the skin very supple, smooth and softly scented. There is no skin irritation or dryness at all, thanks to the oils present within the formula. I enjoy the subtle scent it leaves on the skin.
If you are a dry skin type you can choose to add few drops of their apricot kernel oil or any oil of your choice.I love the Apricot Kernal oil as its not very greasy and sinks immediately.
This makes a part of my everyday Sunday ritual. Something I have come to love more and more with every usage.
Purearth also retails physically via appointment at their studio in Pune, Hongkong and also at Lane crawford in Hongkong.
